LOS ANGELES (January 20, 2014) — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is happy to announce its return to the XBIZ 360 Digital Media Conference.

According to XBIZ, its Digital Media Conference is part of the groundbreaking XBIZ 360 series of seminars, presentations, expert discussions and business networking sessions, plus exclusive special events for adult industry leaders. Slated for January 22-25 at Hollywood’s luxurious W Hotel, XBIZ 360 features six consecutive conferences and events individually devoted to digital media, adult content, pleasure products and retail — providing the adult entertainment industry with a showcase of technology, tactics and business opportunities — highlighted by the annual star-studded XBIZ Awards.

ASACP staff, including Executive Director Tim Henning, Operations Director Erege Macis, Membership Manager Dawn Yagielowicz and Director of European Outreach Vince Charlton, will be in attendance at the event.

“XBIZ events attract a range of digital media business owners and adult website operators, from around the world,” Henning stated. “This audience of top-tier professionals is among the most important for the association to reach with its message of keeping children out of and away from adult entertainment.”

ASACP will have an information booth set up outside the seminar hall, where donations and new sponsorships will be processed and is also exhibiting at the show’s mix and meet session. The association will have an advertisement in the show guide along with flyers in the show’s gift bags, compliments of XBIZ and its sponsors. This added level of exposure and outreach will allow ASACP to enhance its presence at Hollywood’s premiere adult industry gathering.

XBIZ and its event attendees are also helping ASACP financially, by staging a fundraiser for ASACP and the Free Speech Coalition at the upcoming XBIZ Awards gala. To streamline the process, donations will only be accepted before the awards show; with the donors individually announced and thanked by Henning and FSC CEO Diane Duke, on stage, during the event.

As with last year’s fundraiser, XBIZ will again match the first $5,000 raised and will list the contributors in a joint ASACP/FSC advertisement that will appear in its industry publications.

“Ongoing consolidation within the industry has restricted the association’s financing, which limits the number of initiatives ASACP can support,” Henning stated. “This fundraiser allows our sponsors to support ASACP over and above their current level, while allowing non-sponsors or members to help out in our vital struggle.”

“ASACP’s initiatives include its CP Reporting Hotline and Restricted To Adults (RTA) website label, which were only made possible through the generous support of the legitimate adult entertainment industry,” Henning added. “This support is needed now more than ever before as we strive to stretch our budget while maintaining our high level of service.”
