294 Child porn websites removed

ASACP currently receives over 60 -70 child pornography reports per day. Of these, 468 child pornography websites were reported to the authorities in August 2002, and 294 of these websites have already been removed from the Internet.

Because of the media attention on the breakup of the alleged world-wide pedophile ring and the other publicized cases of sexual child abuse, there has been a substantial increase - 40% over last year - in the number of suspected sites reported to us.

We would like to thank all of our participating adult websites and supporters. We are increasing our efforts in the fight against child pornography.

ASACP is the premier organization helping the adult site industry to make a difference in the battle against child pornography. The ASACP logo is proudly displayed on over 2000 adult sites that are taking a stand against child pornography. If you are interested in learning more about ASACP or helping in the fight against child pornography, please view the ASACP site (www.asacp.org).
