ASACP to Attend Gaelic WWW Conference

LOS ANGELES (June 15, 2017) — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce its attendance at the upcoming Gaelic WWW Conference.

The 2017 Gaelic WWW Conference is set for June 19-21 at the Glenview Hotel in Wicklow, Ireland.

According to its promoters, the event offers a simple win-win situation where webmasters, media buyers and sellers, program partners, service providers and more, can carve out, in a comfortable environment, the industry’s common ground for growth.

Roland Grotheer, founder and CEO of Imob Traffic Ltd. and the Gaelic WWW Conference, says that for companies working in the adult industry, child protection is one of the most important issues.

“We highly appreciate the work of ASACP and are happy about their support of our Gaelic WWW Conference,” Grotheer states. “We all need to work together with respect and honor to make good business and protect the children at the same time.”

ASACP’s Executive Director, Tim Henning, will attend the event where he hopes to meet with current and prospective sponsors to discuss how responsible media companies and service providers can do their part to foster online child protection by supporting the association.

“ASACP provides education and tools that digital media companies need to protect children online,” Henning says. “This will be the association’s first visit to Ireland, where the Gaelic WWW Conference offers an elite audience of stakeholders, including numerous decision makers who can help make a tangible difference in defending today’s always-connected youth in their daily digital lives.”

The Gaelic WWW Conference is providing ASACP with complimentary event registration, an ad on the event website, an exhibition table at the show, and ASACP banner placement in the hotel lobby, providing prominent exposure for the association at this exclusive adult industry gathering.

In addition, Henning’s travel and hotel accommodations for the Gaelic WWW Conference are being generously underwritten by AgeChecked.com.

“2017 is a pivotal year for the digital media industry, with numerous global initiatives aimed at online age and identity verification — and adult entertainment is squarely in the crosshairs,” AgeChecked CEO Alastair Graham explains. “Now is the time for responsible companies to step forward and show leadership and strength.”

“To that end,” Graham adds, “we are proud to help ensure that ASACP has a presence in Ireland, where it can reach industry decision makers that make a difference in the safety of children online.”

As part of the association’s outreach efforts, Henning will participate in a panel discussion regarding U.K. age verification and the result for the industry, on June 20, from 3-3:45 in Boardroom 2 of the Glenview Hotel.

“From our internationally lauded CP Tipline that has processed more than a million reports since its inception, to our free Restricted To Adults (RTA) website meta label that prevents minors from seeing adult content on billions of protected web pages, ASACP’s accomplishments are effective, substantial and needed — but they are only possible through the generosity of our sponsors,” Henning explains. “Companies such as AgeChecked and Gaelic WWW Conference, along with the rest of our family of sponsors and supporters, as well as our small but extremely dedicated staff, all make it happen — but more help is needed to face the growing threats that evolving technology poses to children.”
