ASACP Travels to Las Vegas for Internext 2022

LOS ANGELES (January 6, 2022) — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is delighted to announce its return to Las Vegas for the 2022 Internext Expo.

Scheduled for January 14-17, the special 25th-anniversary conference will debut an all-new hybrid format. The highly anticipated in-person B2B tech gathering happens at the elegant Resorts World Las Vegas. At the same time, the online component will be available via the event’s cutting-edge digital conference platform.

A preliminary schedule previewing this long weekend of networking opportunities, educational seminars, interactive workshops, and exclusive parties, along with a free Streamate-sponsored registration option, is available at Internext-Expo.com.

The event’s highlights include its annual Meet Market, the Performers Retreat, and the Content Creators Academy. In addition, registered attendees can book one-on-one video or in-person meetings through the Internext Expo website.

ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning will be in attendance to represent the association and meet with digital media companies and other stakeholders.

“Internext Expo provides ASACP with an unmatched opportunity to educate businesses and individuals at every level, from the most established operators to the newest companies,” Henning explained. “This event represents a range of unique opportunities for the association to raise awareness of the many dangers facing today’s digitally connected youth and the measures that can protect children from exposure to age-restricted materials.”

The events’ promoters will provide ASACP with a table at the Meet Market and sponsor-level banner placement as part of its Marketer Package. In addition, they will help to underwrite Henning’s attendance at the show through complimentary admission and hotel accommodations in Las Vegas, along with an invitation to the exclusive CEO Dinner.

“It’s important for the industry to stand together on important issues, such as preventing children from seeing age-restricted materials online,” Hope from Internext-Expo parent GFY said. “By helping ASACP have a presence at our events, we make it easier for the association to reach the decision-makers that can best influence children’s online safety.”

“I hope that all Internext attendees will take a moment to meet with Tim and learn how they can help,” Hope added.

ASACP’s Travel Sponsor, DialXS, is underwriting Henning’s airfare to help enable his meetings with other industry leaders.

“Internext has long provided valuable assistance to the association, for which we are grateful,” Henning concluded. “Without the generous financial and material support that our sponsors provide us, including DialXS’ travel expense assistance, we could not reach the necessary decision-makers or achieve ASACP’s ongoing record of success.”

These successes include the release of free child protection resources such as market-specific Best Practices along with a comprehensive Code of Ethics for businesses, app publishers, and all operators of age-restricted websites. At the pinnacle of ASACP’s achievements are its Restricted To Adults (RTA) meta-labeling system that helps prevent children’s access to adult-oriented web pages; and its CP Reporting Tipline, which has processed more than 1 million reports. As with all ASACP’s services, these tools are free for all users.

“ASACP has always led the way in online child protection, thanks to the ongoing support of our sponsors, and this expertise is needed by the industry now more than ever,” Henning concluded. “As 2022 begins and in-person events return to the norm, ASACP is ready to provide the current alternatives, education, and resources that your company needs for keeping children out of and away from adult-oriented sites and services.”
