ASACP Travels to Lisbon for TES Affiliate Conferences

LOS ANGELES (Feb. 7, 2023) — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce its return to Lisbon, Portugal, for the newest installment of the TES Affiliate Conferences, February 22-25 at The Oitavos Hotel in Cascais.

Founded in 1996, ASACP spearheads the global fight to keep children out of and away from adult-oriented entertainment and other inappropriate materials online.

Supported by its sponsors and members, ASACP is a nonprofit organization that works with numerous international businesses, law enforcement agencies, and other digital media industry stakeholders, including TES, to fight against child exploitation and sexual abuse.

Founded in 2009, TES Affiliate Conferences unites professionals from the online entertainment industry, e-commerce, financials, gaming, gambling, dating, forex, health, nutraceuticals, and more for an intensive three-day networking event.

“From the onset, TES Affiliate Conferences was intent on creating a great networking experience for its attendees and delegates,” an event spokesperson said. “In our high-tech world, it is still of supreme importance that excellent interpersonal relationships be developed and maintained because they are the cornerstones of building a successful business, and TES is the place to do it.”

TES has provided the association with a complimentary exhibition space and table at the event’s Meet Market, allowing ASACP to reach out to many business owners and operators face-to-face, along with promotion on the event’s website. TES has also generously underwritten ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning’s admission to the event and hotel accommodations.

ASACP supports TES and its leadership in boosting the industry’s professionalism and is grateful for the assistance it receives from the event’s promoters, including a special offer for the association’s sponsors and members, who can receive a 25 percent discount on event admission by using promo code “25percentoffwithasacp” when registering online.

“Protecting children online begins by meeting with and educating businesses about the newest standards and best practices for legal compliance, and managing user-generated content,” Henning said. “TES offers an unparalleled opportunity to reach the most diverse range of companies and is vital to ASACP’s educational, European outreach, and annual fundraising efforts. And now with this generous discount on event admission for the ASACP family, TES is even more accessible and important for the association to embrace.”

ASACP’s Travel Sponsor, DialXS, is generously underwriting Henning’s airfare and expenses to and from the venue city of Lisbon, providing the association with the assistance it needs to carry out its international outreach efforts.

“Thanks to DialXS and the promoters of the TES Affiliate Conferences, ASACP can meet in person with top business leaders and industry newcomers alike,” Henning concluded. “It is the perfect opportunity to deliver the association’s message of keeping children out of and away from adult-oriented entertainment.”

ASACP uses the generous financial and material support it receives to fund its initiatives, such as the internationally recognized Child Exploitation Tipline, which has processed more than 1.25 million reports since its inception. In addition, ASACP’s Restricted To Adults (RTA) meta-labeling system helps prevent minors’ access to adult-oriented web pages and apps. Finally, its market-specific Best Practices and Code of Ethics guide digital media firms toward child-safe operations.
