ASACP to Mark 10th Anniversary at XBiz Summer Forum
Los Angeles, CA (June 7, 2006) - The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) will publicly celebrate its 10th anniversary at the upcoming XBiz Summer '06 Forum.

The XBiz Summer '06 Forum takes place in Las Vegas from July 12th-14th. The last official event will be a Farewell Executive Champagne Brunch, featuring a brief salute to ASACP and a toast to commemorate the organization's 10th anniversary.

A portion of the proceeds from the brunch will be donated to ASACP, and ASACP Corporate Sponsor SexSearch.com is among the companies already on board. Other companies interested in sponsoring the event should contact Kristen Kaye at (310) 820-0228, extension 922 or email her at [email protected] .

The event will mark the end of the Forum, and will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's Simon Kitchen & Bar on Friday, July 14th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. ASACP's Executive Director Joan Irvine expects it to be a fun and touching tribute.

"So many people have put so much energy into this organization over the past decade," Irvine said. "Everything ASACP has accomplished has been a community effort, and we're really looking forward to thanking the online adult industry for its support."

In addition to the anniversary event, Ms. Irvine will participate in a panel at the XBiz Summer '06 Forum entitled "Protect Your Business." Ms. Irvine said that she expects to discuss how ASACP membership not only helps kids, but also helps adult companies demonstrate their commitment to responsible business practices.

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP battles child pornography through its CP reporting hotline, and by organizing the efforts of the online adult industry to combat the heinous crime of child sexual abuse.

Companies and individuals interested in supporting ASACP may go to www.asacp.org for more information on how to get involved.
