ASACP Sounds Off, Tees Off at Phoenix Forum

Los Angeles, CA (March 26, 2007) – The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) will conduct a seminar at the upcoming Phoenix Forum in Tempe, AZ.

The session will be entitled “Your Bottom Line & Child Protection: ASACP’s Tips for Adult Companies” and will take place on Saturday, March 31 at 12:15 PM. ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine will discuss strategies for adult companies who want to keep minors off their sites, protect their businesses from scams run by child pornographers, and send the right message to consumers, law enforcement and government.

In addition, the 3rd Annual Phoenix Forum Golf Tournament will benefit ASACP, along with the Free Speech Coalition and Children’s Toy Drive 2007. The event will take place at the ASU Karsten Golf Course on Wednesday, March 28th, the day before the main Forum kicks off.

“We’re thrilled that ASACP will again benefit from the golf tournament,” said Ms. Irvine. “And we’re happy that ASACP can also contribute to the Forum by sharing our expertise and experience with adult companies and webmasters. We look forward to seeing everybody on the golf course, at the Forum, and in our Saturday lunchtime session!”

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online.
