Los Angeles, CA (November 6, 2007) – The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce that Ruby Tan has joined on as Director of Membership. As ASACP continues to grow so does the need for additional revenue and resources.   Ruby will be in charge of creating relationships with new sponsors and will be very involved with ASACP’s strategic development.

Before coming to ASACP Ruby worked in the Affiliate Relations and Special Markets Department at Playboy for six years. Prior to Playboy Ruby worked in the sales departments at E! Entertainment and CBS Television. In addition to her background in sales, Ruby gained experience in marketing and promotion while working at Clear Channel Communications/KYLD and at KPWR Power 106 FM.

“I’m extremely excited about my new position with ASACP and I feel that my experience in corporate sales and marketing will be a great addition to the organization. At my previous position with Playboy Television, I had worked with the adult industry as well as corporate cable and satellite providers in Canada so I’m very enthusiastic to talk about ASACP’s efforts to all my contacts,” commented Ruby Tan. “There are quite a few tasks that ASACP has for the future and with help from Joan and the staff, I’m quite eager in getting those goals accomplished!”

“ASACP has achieved so much in order to protect children, but we are constantly being faced with new challenges,” stated Executive Director Joan Irvine. “Much more of my time is being spent in D.C. creating relationships to help us further our mission, Ruby will be taking over much of the work I have done with sponsors. It’s a very exciting time for ASACP.”
