Los Angeles, CA (December 11, 2007) – The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce that Theresa Flynt from Hustler has joined its Advisory Council.

The Advisory Council (AC) consists of industry leaders who generously volunteer their time and expertise to help direct ASACP’s efforts and resources. AC members represent different industry segments and provide input on pertinent issues including strategic planning, business practices, technology, service development, government outreach and marketing.

“I am excited to join forces with the other advisory council members from XBIZ, AVN, TrafficDude, Epoch, Cybersocket and Moss Consulting in order to work together with a common goal to protect children.” stated Flynt.

Theresa Flynt is one of the most well-known female executives working in the adult industry. Responsible for creating the Hustler Hollywood chain of stores, she oversaw the design, building and day-to-day operations of the retail powerhouse. Since then, Theresa has served as Hustler’s Executive Vice President of Licensing and Brand Development and headed up Hustler Video’s Marketing Division. She has graced the cover of AVN Online and been featured in O, The Oprah Magazine, Playgirl, Los Angeles Magazine, Glamour UK and XBIZ World. Most recently AVN Magazinenamed her one of its top 50 influential people under the age of 40. Theresa holds a BA in Marketing from Mount Saint Mary’s College. 

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP battles child pornography through its CP reporting hotline, and by organizing the efforts of the online adult industry to combat the heinous crime of child sexual abuse.
