ASACP Presented 1st Annual Outstanding Service Award at Internext

Los Angeles - (January 12, 2004)
- ASACP Presented 1st Annual Outstanding Service Award at Internext

ASACP presented its 1st Annual Outstanding Service Award to Tim Henning. The presentation was made during the XBiz Awards at 2004 Internext in Las Vegas.

ASACP is the organization that helps the industry make a difference in the battle against child pornography and with the support of its sponsors, advisory council, approved members and the industry, it has become more effective and visible in the last year.

ASACP`s major function is to provide an online hotline where people can safely report suspect child pornography. ASACP receives over 4000 reports a month. The Site Reviewer looks at each one of these reports to verify if they are actual child pornography or not.

As you can only imagine this is an extremely difficult task and takes a very special person to do it. ASACP has been very fortunate to have such a person working for it for the last six years and we wanted to honor him. Therefore, ASACP was pleased to present its 1st Annual Outstanding Service Award to Tim Henning in appreciation for his six years of service and dedication to the protection of children on the Internet. Tim has been the backbone of ASACP, said Joan Irvine, executive director, ASACP.
