ASACP Set to Attend The Phoenix Forum

LOS ANGELES (March 30, 2011) — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce that it will once again participate in The Phoenix Forum, scheduled for March 31 to April 2, in Tempe, Ariz.

Being held at the Tempe Mission Palms hotel, The Phoenix Forum is a three-day event that provides adult webmasters and service providers from around the world with a wide variety of networking, educational and promotional opportunities.

The 7th Annual Phoenix Forum Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the ASACP Foundation will take place at Tempe’s ASU Karsten Golf Course, on Wednesday, March 30, prior to the Forum’s kick-off. This popular event is a great way for Forum attendees to have fun and prosper while supporting the industry’s trade associations. ASACP’s VP of Technology and Forensic Research, Tim Henning, will be playing in the Golf Tournament.

As part of its participation, ASACP will have flyers in the attendee’s gift bags and Henning will speak on a panel entitled, “Listening to the Consumer,” slated for Friday, April 1, from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.

“Over the years, The Phoenix Forum, its promoters, sponsors and attendees have provided ASACP with an immeasurable level of support, for which we are grateful,” stated ASACP CEO Joan Irvine. “We are also thankful for the financial support the CC Bill provides ASACP as a Corporate Sponsor and that we will receive from the event’s Charity Golf Tournament. This fundraiser greatly assists our efforts to help companies protect their business by protecting children.”

Founded in 1996, ASACP is a non-profit organization dedicated to online child protection.

ASACP is comprised of two separate corporate entities, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection and the ASACP Foundation. The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. ASACP manages a membership program that provides resources to companies in order to help them protect children online. The ASACP Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The ASACP Foundation battles child pornography through its CP Reporting Hotline and helps parents prevent children from viewing age-restricted material online with its Restricted To Adults (RTA) Website Label (www.rtalabel.org). ASACP has invested nearly 15 years in developing progressive programs to protect children, and its relationship in assisting the adult industry’s child protection efforts is unparalleled.
