ASACP to Attend AEE and Internext Expo in Las Vegas

LOS ANGELES (January 9, 2014) — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is delighted to announce that it will once again attend the Adult Entertainment Expo and Internext Expo events in Las Vegas.

According to its promoters, Internext Expo meets the growing demands of a changing adult entertainment industry by providing seminars, networking sessions, executive dinners and other opportunities for operators to interact. The B2B-focused Internext Expo is immediately followed by sister events Adult Entertainment Expo and the Adult Novelty Expo, along with the annual AVN Awards, which are open to the public and attract fans from around the world.

The annual event series begins on January 11 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, where ASACP’s Executive Director, Tim Henning, will be on hand to represent the association.

“By having a presence at the Adult Entertainment Expo and Internext Expo, ASACP is able to reach both the consumers and producers of adult entertainment alike,” Henning stated. “This presents a unique opportunity for raising awareness of the association’s mission of keeping children out of and away from adult entertainment or other age-inappropriate material online.”

Part of this awareness initiative involves educating parents and adult website owners about the benefits of using the Restricted To Adults (RTA) website labeling system.

“RTA works with existing web browsers and parental filtering tools to prevent a minor’s unauthorized access to age-inappropriate material — and it’s free and easy for website owners to implement,” Henning stated. “They just need to know that this ASACP-sponsored program is available and making a difference in the lives of children today.”

ASACP will be promoted at these events via an advertisement in the show guide along with flyers in the shows’ gift bags, a table at the Meet Market and sponsor level banner placement, all courtesy of AEE / Internext Expo and its sponsors; enabling ASACP to extend its presence at these popular gatherings. In addition, the promoters of AEE and Internext Expo are helping to underwrite Henning’s attendance, through complimentary event admission and by covering two nights of his hotel stay in Las Vegas.
