ASACP received over 2500 suspect child pornography reports in October. Of these, 450 child pornography sites were reported to the authorities, and 295 of these sites have been shut down.

"ASACP's services are essential to the FBI and U.S. Customs Service. Our reviewing process helps them enormously: 500 of the suspect reports contained adults and over 1100 were either duplicates or had been reported before. This saves the government, time, effort and money" according to Joan Irvine, Executive Director of ASACP.
