ACP 60% Increase in Reports in 1 Month

In September, ASACP received over 2600 suspect child pornography reports; this was over a 60% increase over the prior month. Of these, 504 child pornography sites were reported to the authorities in September 2002, and 328 of these sites have already been removed from the Internet.

ASACP attributes this large monthly increase to the facts that ASACP:

  • Receives top ranking at Google, Yahoo and AOL for the following terms:
            º Reporting child porn
            º Reporting child pornography
            º Anti-child porn
            º Child pornography

  • Receives over 7,000 unique visitors a day.

  • Has over 3000 sites linking to its site.

Additionally, ASACP offers two unique advantages over alternative methods of reporting suspected child pornography:

  • With ASACP's close alliance with the adult site industry, they can accurately review submitted reports and only forward violations of illegal sites to the authorities.

  • The general public and adult site webmasters are more comfortable in reporting sites to ASACP, rather than directly to governmental agencies.

ASACP would like to thank all of the participating adult sites and supporters. ASACP is increasing its efforts in the fight against child pornography.

ASACP is the premier organization helping the adult site industry to make a difference in the battle against child pornography. The ASACP logo is proudly displayed on over 2000 adult sites that are taking a stand against child pornography.
