Wildline! and ASACP Team Up to Protect Children
Los Angeles, CA (September 26, 2006) - The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) thanks its Corporate Sponsor Wildline! for launching a new project designed to raise ASACP's internet profile, while also helping to prevent commercial exploitation of search terms used to market child pornography.

Wildline! is a traffic network operator and adult web search consulting company, and specializes in highly targeted campaigns that deliver relevant search engine traffic to their clients' web sites. Even before the company became an ASACP Corporate Sponsor earlier this year, Wildline! was looking into ways to apply its expertise in search engine traffic to helping ASACP protect children online.

The new project is spearheaded by veteran adult industry consultant Johnny V, who has been working with ASACP for several years, and Wildline! President Charles Hentrich. Their original goal was just to help ASACP anyway they could.

"We were convinced that Wildline! had more to give to ASACP than just money," stated Johnny V. "If we could cook, we would have had a bake sale - but since Charles has an unparalleled ability to create lucrative, long term campaigns in the search engines for his clients, we decided to combine his skills with our mutual desire to protect children. The result will help ASACP combat the exploitation of children online."

The project has been in development for a year and a half, and required the support of many influential people within the search community. Eventually the team prevailed in using their influence to help protect kids, and ASACP should soon see improved search engine rankings and traffic thanks to the campaign - which Wildline! is managing pro bono.

With the search engine optimization expertise of Wildline!, sites such as asacp.org will have the best opportunity to show up for compromising queries in today's search engines. Users typing in these types of queries will be able to find organizations like ASACP for legitimate purposes such as research and fighting child exploitation.

ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine expressed the organization's gratitude for Johnny V's efforts on its behalf. "His tenaciousness and dedication has been amazing. It's because of enthusiastic, proactive individuals like Johnny V and sponsors like Wildline! that ASACP is able to keep expanding its outreach and improving its effectiveness. I would say that we're in their debt - but they're the ones paying us!"

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP battles child pornography through its CP reporting hotline, and by organizing the efforts of the online adult industry to combat the heinous crime of child sexual abuse.
