Eurowebtainment Represents ASACP at International Event

Los Angeles, CA (August 5, 2008) - Attendees at this year's Eurowebtainment meeting will have the opportunity to learn more about the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) and its work on behalf of the online adult industry.

The Eurowebtainment meeting in Vienna, Austria takes place August 5th - 11th, 2008. The Eurowebtainment event is the principle trade meeting in Europe, meeting the high demands of a professional business-to-business (B2B) trade meeting with seminars and workshops and above all providing a professional forum for international networking. The B2B meeting point in the interactive media area has information and company presentations from the Internet, Mobile-Telecommunications and SAT/WEB-TV areas.

ASACP CEO Joan Irvine stated, “Eurowebtainment has always been very supportive of ASACP. Understanding that we are a non-profit organization with a limited budget and therefore unable to attend every conference, Eurowebtainment organizers have consistently volunteered to represent ASACP at events. Their support greatly helps us to educate people about ASACP and the adult industry’s efforts to protect children on an international level.”

Thomas Wagner of Eurowebtainment added, “The Eurowebtainment meeting is known as the most important business event of its kind in Europe and we are pleased to help represent ASACP at this event. Key players in the industry meet a professional b2b environment to exchange business content and business ideas. Networking takes place in a relaxing atmosphere. Interesting presentations and Gala-parties enhance this special business event.”

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online. Companies and individuals interested in supporting ASACP may go to www.asacp.org for more information on how to get involved.
