Eurowebtainment Represents ASACP at International Event

Los Angeles, CA (April 30, 2010) - Attendees at this year's Eurowebtainment meeting will have the opportunity to learn more about the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) and its work on behalf of the online adult industry.

The Eurowebtainment is Europe’s leading business-event for interactive Entertainment across the Internet, Telecommunication and SAT/WEB-TV. In 2009 it counted more than 700 business professionals from 30 countries and it has recorded a continuous growing number of international participants. The 17th Eurowebtainment takes place from 12th – 15th May 2010 in the hotel Melia de Mar in Majorca, Spain. The event will offer further highlights in the infotainment program such as top-class speeches of Myspace.com, South Korea Telecom and many more.

As a special surprise this year they will offer an event with the theme “Pirateball on Treasure Island” on Thursday evening with historic ships in a very exclusive club on the waterfront of the Mediterranean sea. Last but not least the attractive events such the Katamaran Boat Tour or the 3 exclusive parties were created to lead to further discussions and as international as the EWT-participants are also their special guests.

ASACP CEO Joan Irvine stated, “Earlier this year we released a Spanish language version of our website and we are proud to be launching the German translated version of asacp.org in conjunction with Eurowebtainment. Eurowebtainment has always been very supportive of ASACP. Understanding that we are a non-profit organization with a limited budget and therefore unable to attend every conference, Eurowebtainment organizers have consistently volunteered to represent ASACP at events. Their support greatly helps us to educate people about ASACP and the adult industry’s efforts to protect children on an international level.”

The Team of the Eurowebtainment added, “The Eurowebtainment meeting is known as the most important business event of its kind in Europe and we are pleased to help represent ASACP at this event. Key players in the industry meet a professional b2b environment to exchange business content and business ideas. Networking takes place in a relaxing atmosphere. Interesting presentations and VIP-Parties enhance this special business event.”

Founded in 1996, ASACP is a non-profit organization dedicated to online child protection. ASACP battles child pornography through its CP Reporting Hotline and helps parents prevent children from viewing age-restricted material online with its Restricted To Adults – RTA Website Label. ASACP is the only association in the world that coordinates the adult entertainment industry’s efforts to protect children online. It has spent over 14 years creating progressive programs to protect children. ASACP’s relationship in assisting the adult industry’s child protection efforts is unparalleled.
