Eurowebtainment Supports ASACP in Vienna

Los Angeles, CA (October 12, 2010) — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) and its work on behalf of the online adult industry will be highlighted at this year’s Eurowebtainment event (www.eurowebtainment.com), courtesy of its sponsors.

According to its promoters, Eurowebtainment is Europe’s leading business-to-business trade event for interactive entertainment companies operating in the Internet, telecommunications and SAT/Web-TV markets. The 18th Eurowebtainment, being held at the Marriott Hotel in Vienna on November 10-13, features seminars, speeches and presentations, along with many networking opportunities and two special events: “Mobilewebtainment” and “Infotainment.”

“The Eurowebtainment meeting is known as the most important business event of its kind in Europe and we are pleased to help represent ASACP at this event,” said a Eurowebtainment rep. “Key players in the industry meet in a professional B2B environment to exchange business content and business ideas. Networking takes place in a relaxing atmosphere, while interesting presentations and VIP parties enhance this special business event.”

Included in its support, Eurowebtainment will promote ASACP on its website, in its show guide, and via its email newsletter, which reaches approximately 15,000 company representatives.

“Eurowebtainment has always been very supportive of ASACP,” stated the association’s CEO, Joan Irvine. “Understanding that ASACP is a nonprofit organization with a limited budget and therefore unable to attend every conference, the Eurowebtainment organizers have consistently volunteered to represent ASACP at its events.”

“Their support greatly helps us to educate people about ASACP and the adult industry’s efforts to protect children on an international level,” Irvine added.

For its part, ASACP is reaching out to an ever-broader international audience, offering English, French, German and Spanish versions of its website, at www.asacp.org. Companies interested in learning about the many ways in which they can support ASACP in its mission to keep children out of and away from adult entertainment, should contact Irvine at [email protected].
