Dude! Traffic Dude Sponsors ASACP

Los Angeles, CA (May 10, 2007) – The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce that Traffic Dude has become its newest Corporate Sponsor.

Traffic Dude is an online advertising agency in operation since 2000, and oversees some of the highest traffic volume adult media networks in the world. The company is also no stranger to ASACP, since Traffic Dude CEO Scott Rabinowitz serves on the ASACP Advisory Council.

“We’ve been supporting ASACP in various ways over the years,” Rabinowitz said. “This year, as we expand our operations, we’re thrilled to step up to the plate and provide sponsorship level support. ASACP helps the industry do its part in protecting kids online, and it’s been a pleasure to watch the organization serve both the public and the industry.”

ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine returned the compliment, calling Traffic Dude a model company. “Traffic Dude is in the important position of setting and enforcing guidelines for internet advertisers,” she noted. “The companies they serve benefit from a great combination of technical know-how and strong commitment to responsible business practices.”

Irvine also thanked Scott Rabinowitz personally for his ongoing dedication to ASACP as an active Advisory Council member. “Most recently he’s been helping us track and understand our own traffic at ASACP.org and RTAlabel.org as one measurement of how well ASACP is reaching the public with our message about the industry’s efforts to protect children.”

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online. Companies and individuals interested in supporting ASACP may go to www.asacp.org for more information on how to get involved.
